Black Canyon:
Class 3 - 4
May - June
$90 adult $80 child, tax included
This is our most popular trip, beginning near the town of Methow and ending at lake Pateros on the Columbia River. The scenery is spectacular and diverse with mountains, forests, canyon, and desert as we descend over 500 vertical feet in approximately 3 hours.

For most, the highlight of the trip are the many exciting and powerful rapids with names like: THE BLACK HOLE, STAIRCASE, HURRICANE, and TACO TIME. The rapids are evenly spaced throughout the trip, beginning almost gently, and crescendoing dramatically as we drop into the Black Canyon itself. Big waves, swirling holes, sparkling sunshine, and beautiful wildlife is yours to behold on this classic Northwest river. We recommend this, the flagship of our tours, for adults and kids 10 years and older, who love excitement.

Gold Creek:
Class 2
April - August
$90 adult $80 child, tax included
We often call this our "family whitewater tour." It is the perfect trip for those wanting fun and excitement who have younger kids or grandparents along. The setting is farmland, orchards, and the beautiful rolling foothills of the eastern Cascades. Towering ponderosa pines and glacially carved rocky crags line the river's edge. Eagles, osprey, deer, coyotes, otter, muskrat and heron are a few of the locals you're likely to meet along the way.

This section of the Methow River is a favorite for kids because of the many fun rapids and swimming holes throughout. We'll give you plenty of time to soak up some rays, take a dip, enjoy your picnic lunch, and skip a few stones.

As the summer progresses and the river level drops, we love to do the Gold Creek trip in our easy to use, sit on top Kayaks. These are instructional trips perfect for beginners or experienced paddlers. The many rapids will entertain you, challenge you, and keep you cool on a hot, summer day.

Skagit River:
Class 2 - 3
July - October
$90 adult $80 child, tax included

By mid summer, most rivers in Washington are running low. The Skagit River is the exception.

Flowing from the heart of the North Cascades, a myriad of glaciers are the source of its bluegreen waters. Floating this mighty river you can feel the pulse of the surrounding North Cascades National Park. Trip highlights include: beautiful waterfalls, lush rainforest of giant cedar, fir and hemlock, active nest sites of our favorite bird, the osprey, spawning salmon by the thousands (see Sept / Oct trips), and consistently pleasant summer weather. Two major and several minor rapids spice up this exquisite tour through nature's own cathedral. An inspiration for all ages.
